Wing Chun Kung Fu is a Chinese martial art designed to be learned quickly and applied efficiently. It doesn’t require size, strength, or speed, because you borrow these from your opponent by learning to welcome force rather than resist it.
Our classes are informal – no uniforms, no belts. Everyone learns, everyone teaches.
A handful of forms introduce the basic movements and concepts, then develop into moving meditations.
Partner exercises and sparring provide opportunities to refine your skills and develop your chi.
Finally, chi sao teaches you to sense and manipulate chi directly, and to focus on the present moment instead of being distracted by worries about what just happened, or fears about what might happen next – something that has applications far beyond fighting.
